Maná is a Latin rock band from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Vocalist Fher Olvera, drummer Alex Gonzalez, guitarist Sergio Vallin and bassist Juan Diego Calleros have
been making music together for nearly 20 years. Maná has sold more than
25 million Spanish-language albums worldwide. They are Latin rock's
biggest touring act and continue to sell out major stadiums and arenas
throughout the world.
The group has earned three Grammy Awards, five Latin Grammy Awards,
five MTV Video Music Awards Latin America, nine Billboard Latin Music
Awards, four Premios Juventud awards, and 13 Premios Lo Nuestro awards.
The group is currently on tour in support of Drama Y Luz, which
was released in the U.S. on April 12, 2011. The new album took over a
year to complete and it's the quartet's first studio album in nearly
five years. The group continues to break records. They are the only
band to sell out four nights at Los Angeles' Staples Center twice.
In just a short time, Drama Y Luz became the #1 best-selling Latin album of 2011.
